How does the Alarm work?

Our device connects directly to your local Verizon network and uses SMS (Short Message Service) or text messaging to send notifications to the users’ mobile device.

When will the unit send a message? When the unit senses an alarm situation (high water, power outage, or low temp (using the optional sensor) the user can expect to get a message. When the situation returns back to normal, the unit will once again send out a message. Each device can store up to three phone numbers and will message them each time an alarm situation is triggered or a return to normal is detected.

Our unit acts as a mobile device, there is an annual cellular cost associated with the device. We charge just $49.99/yr to connect to the local cell network. That’s cheaper than grabbing coffee one time each month.
